So about a month and a half ago I had a police chase end up on my property with a guy who decided it was better to run than to stay in his vehicle after the WSP PIT'd him off the road at the entrance to our acreage.

Fast forward to today.
I'm unloading the tile for our house into the shop and I notice a car enter our property drive behind the house. I finish unloading the tile, grab my pistol and tuck it into my waistband (concealed under my shirt) and then approach the car that has parked on the far side of my new house to find a guy working under the hood of his car. I ask, "Can I hep you?"
He answers, "Oh, I took a test trip in my car and it needs a bit of work".
"On my property?", I ask. Mind you, the dirt bag has driven 175 yards onto my property and parked in a concealed location on my property.
"Well, my son was out here a month or so ago and lost his wallet, so I thought I'd look for that while I was working on my car." he offered.
I said, "Does your son have the initials KKK?"
"Yeah, that's my son Korey Knight."
"Get the FAWK off of my property," was my immediate response. Dad proceeded to tell me how his son was just released from jail and need his wallet, and that he himself was cleaning up his life and was clean for 3 months (woohoo!)
I let him know that my wife was a PO, that I had been a deputy sheriff, and that people of his kind were not welcome on my property. I also informed him that he was to consider himself officially trespassed from our property, and that any future visits would be met with an armed response and I would consider his, or his son's presence on the property as a threat to my safety and the safety of others, and that I would not hesitate to defend myself. Unfortunately he got his vehicle repaired prior to the police arriving. WSP and MPD arrrived, and let them know the skinny.
I hated to do it, but I actually posted a "no trespassing" sign at the entrance to our property.
After taking to a number of the PO's in his home county, it became apparent that dad and son used heroin together, and that when KKK ran through our property, he most likely tosssed some drugs along his escape route. He chose to take an alluding charge rather than being caught with whatever he had on him. Looks like we'll have a visit from the drug dog this weekend. Gotta remember to leave the "spleef" at the old home this weekend,
Just in case you hear anything from McCleary on the news, that'd probably be me.
