Needing a change from interior painting, we got some wood wrapped around most of the windows and ordered mullions to complete them.

I need a fence or vegative screen to hide the neighbor's antique car from the dining room view.

This is starting to look like a real kitchen. I have to order the stove and dishwasher before the counter top guys return.

Need mullions to finish wrapping these windows and door.

That cedar tree I had to cut down is a pile of air-dried boards.

The rough-sawn boards are on their way to becoming paneling for the living room ceiling.

I'm pretty pleased with the little consumer grade bench planer I bought for this project. I've wanted one for a long time. Turning my cedar tree into paneling was just the rationalization I needed to go ahead and buy it.

Next I have to edge all the boards, and they are officially paneling. I've been planning to finish the cedar with Dally's Sea Fin Teak Oil. I've used the stuff on practically everything I've made over the years, but I'm wondering if I should consider something else. It's gonna' be the ceiling after all, and inconvenient to do anything with once it's installed.
