It was 73 degrees when I left the Slope and was 82 when I hopped in my crummy at the floatplane dock by the Ferry terminal this evening. Had great visibility out of the Beaver and the residual snow up high,is amazingly next to nothing.

This heat will curtail my earnest Booner Pursuits, mainly because of meat spoilage concerns and a distant second,my little to no love for velvet. Sooooo September will likely be hardcore Alpine havoc.

I'm off Sept. 1-15. Suit yourself and I suggest you travel light,as I have 10 of most everything. Leave the jigs at home(under the guise of absent-mindedness) and you open the door to Winter Steelheading.

Hint.
