I wish I could help you out, reminds me of my first shotgun. A used sears & robucks single shot 12 GA. Paid tweenty bucks for it. I think I was 15 or so.

Remember it does not have to be fancy. Those birds did not know I only paid tweenty bucks for it. I took many many birds with that gun.
I would pass it down to you but it was becoming unsafe so I gave it to a friend to rebuild. I will keep my ears open for a good gun. Thanks for the old memory.
