The reel is still in its velvet bag and in the original box. Has two spare inner spools, too.
I have no idea what it's worth. Bought it 10 years ago from a fly-fishing lodge owner in B.C. Can't recall the price.

At one time I wrote articles for various fishing magazines. The assignment was lake fly-fishing (I'm a river-salmon guy). I ended up buying the reel thinking I'll pursue fly-fishing on my own. It never happened.

The rod is pretty sweet. Comes with a protective hard case.
