I have a 25" transom, so I would need an extra long shaft in a prop motor. So I don't think that will work, unfortunately. A long shaft prop motor needs a 20" transom. I have thought of this as well, and have been told that I need an extra long shaft, and to get an extra long shaft, most brands start @ 90hp for an extra long shaft.
