The board didn't require registration at first, but threads got carried away constantly and Bob did away with some of the riff-raff by going to reigstration............must have been about March 7, 1999.

Since then we've been witness to the Jig Wars, the Hook Wars, about 412 flossing threads, 638 snagging threads, dozens of threads on favorite color corky, a freezer test on fishing line, and loads of the best f'n free comedy on the whole internet.
