I have had Okuma Celilo rods which will break if you just look at them the wrong way (no warranty either). The Okuma Guide Select rods are fairly durable however. They run about $80 and carry a lifetime warranty. I have broken only one Guide Select in two and a half years of fairly frequent use and got a replacement from Okuma in about 2 weeks. I am very satisfied thus far with this particular line of rods. I would suggest spending the extra $20 to step up to their Guide Select line from the SST if you are going to use Okuma rods.
