I fished the Willapa today 1-5. I hooked a nice 7 or 8lb hatchery steelhead that slipped off my stringer just as I was going to bonk it. That was more than a little bit of a letdown. No fish after that, which was about 2pm. The guy just down river from me caught 4 steelhead for the day. Water vis was a good 4-6 feet and flow was great right around 600.

Say, any reports on Reiter Ponds? I'd like to try that area this week.
