Assume all you want...those rods with 30lb braid and 12lb leader tire out a fish rather quickly actually...but what do I know...I just did it on Monday...and the day before that...and every weekend since the start of humpy season....look at my spool of line in the pic...that is not mono...so nice stabb but you missed.
