We found out last year during a 5 day outage, our well works just fine without power and provides about 3 GPM. Wood stove takes care of heating and I can cook on it when we run out of propane eventually. Got goats (and a neighbor with bucks for breeding) and 5 acres of brush for them to eat. It grows back so fast, I doubt they'll ever run out.

We just put in an orchard last weekend and added 3 raised beds to the garden. I plan to can my own fruits and veggies this summer instead of freezing it.

Already stock piled dry goods like rice and flour, along with stuff like buillion and seasonings.

Just need some chickens and rabbits and we'll be fine for many months. Ya'll stop by for breakfast if you can get past the armed guards at the bridge.
