Braid all the way. I can't even figure out why not and everytime I hear someone argue it the other way. The only downside I've found is that it is probably not as abrasion resistant if you hang up and the braid is right against a sharpish rock.

Bantam says it is "too sensitive"?
Brewer says it "makes you look insecure"?

I make up for those by using the worst rod I can buy and showing up in my Corvette.
