sometimes you need to get over the "he/she passed away syndrome
once you realize that you were honored with their presence to begin with and that the time they spent here was a slight miracle with in itself

i used to mourn good friends and family until i realized that the fact that they had lived at all , greatly overshadowed the fact that they had died

remember your friend for who he/she was
not for what is gone
