I wasn't aware that aluminum aged....why would the age of the boat make a difference? Wouldn't an aluminum boat be valued based on the condition, rather than the age? I wish this boat had been offered a month of so ago...coulda saved me $500 bucks as I too bought an old aluminum boat (paid $2500 for an '82 Koffler w/trailer)...and I drove 8 hours to get it, and still feel like I got a good deal.
