The North Sound Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association is pleased to welcome Ginny Broadhurst, Executive Director from the Northwest Straits Commission and Jeff June, Project Manager to speak on Wednesday, April 14th at the Bellingham 4350 Cordata Parkway location.

Divers have removed 100,000 pounds of old fishing gear abandoned in waters off Whatcom County. Ginny will talk about the project, ongoing efforts to remove nets and the next big project facing us and the Commission– derelict crab pots. Ginny will talk about the net removal project and Jeff will discuss the crab mortality study.
