Very possible Tim. That is how we fished em in Minnesota.

like r2fshn--use a worm harness weighted to bottom slow troll. Tipped with bait night crawler, (minnow and leeches--ck regs).

Mister Twister--lead head jig tipped with bait..bump the bottom. Look for structure--reefs fish along them on the wind blown side and shorelines.

Slip bobber/bait is effective when fishing different depths.

get some wally's and do a shore lunch
