Feds: State workers snared in driver's license fraud case

BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Three people, including one current and one former state Licensing Department employee, were arrested Friday in a case dealing with the sale of identification documents to illegal immigrants.

Current DOL employee Melanie Yoder was taken into custody just after noon Friday at the Bellevue licensing office, said U.S. attorney's spokeswoman Emily Langlie. Yoder is charged with conspiring with a Brazilian immigrant, Rodrigo Moura, who was also arrested Friday in Kirkland.
