I was dragging the shutter about 20-30 seconds for each of those shots.
Lens was a super-wide 11-16mm f2.8... pics above shot at f4 with 200ISO and a remote release.

Speaking of close calls, there were 4 teenagers lighting off a mortar last night and apparently didnt think they had to move after lighting it. I didn't see exactly what happened, but they were still looking down on it as it blew off. One kid singed off all the hair on the front of his face, and the other had gunpowder burns on his forehead. After freaking out, then making sure they were OK, their mother cut them off from fireworks the rest of the night.
