Both methods mentioned will work.

I like jigs and pink curl tail worms.

If you see a school swimming by, cast so the jig will land just in front of the school.

Small buzz bombs, or other minnow type lead jigs also work well.

Be sure to cut the fill arch and bleed pinks immediately. The sooner your can get them on ice the better for eating quality.

If you can't ice them soon, do C&R and have fun playing them, pinch the barbs down for easy release.

Keep a couple for the barbie towards the end of your fishing day. Pinks turn to mush if you don't handle them correctly which is why they have a poor reputation as table fare.
