The cool thing about seeing them cruise by today is that they were in full landing mode...I live pretty close to King. Co. airport...so they were barely moving, so it seemed.

Just as loud as when on full step, only creeping by...was able to get a far better look at the planes and the paintjobs than usual...and they didn't come in formation, since they were landing...just one after another, about a minute and half apart, and the the sound from the first was still echoing when the last one came in...rattled the windows, they did!

As much as I like seeing them, I'll be happy to be out of town fishing this weekend, since I'll be close enough to see them a few times and won't have to deal with the traffic snarls that inevitably ensue when they come by and they close the bridges...
