To quote Ron White, "you can't fix stupid". I bet he gets a settlement. When I worked for the Park Service at the coast some idiots got into a tobagan and headed down the steep slope behind the visitor's center at Hurricane Ridge; you know the very steep slope with the old growth trees located just about where you would hit terminal velocity. Well they hit one of the trees and were severely injured and if I recall right, someone died. They sued because there was no sign warning of the dangers of sledding down the slope and got a pretty good settlement.

I got a buddy who runs a little slip and fall practice to supplement his retirement income. He makes a lot of money settling crap just like this. By the way, he is a die hard opposer to any call for Tort Reform.
