I think the idea that steelhead bite lightly is already pretty well debunked...so long as you're paying attention to your gear

As much as I hate to admit it, my time as a competition bass fisherman has colored my worm fishing for steelhead so much that sometimes I can't tell the two styles apart...thankfully telling the fish apart is like telling night from day
