Good luck folks.

What color jigs and size if you don't mind me asking. Have always wanted to catch a salmon on a jig.

Any jig with Chartreuse was working. Buddy also got one with a big all purple jig. They were pretty big, 1/4 oz. to 3/8 oz. I got both of mine on a plain white headed jig on which I threaded a pink worm down the shank of the hook and turned to expose the point of the hook. This is a setup I planned to use for native steel last winter and never did. i couldn't believe it when I got the first coho on it, and then I tried again and 15 minutes later had another!

I think part of it was the fish were biting and we got our presentations in front of them. I am not sure the color was critical, more that we found fish willing to bite.
