Well, heres the deal. Monday is my b-day right? So my husband went out today after work & bought me a fly rod (he gave it to me so I could use it this week-end instead of waiting for next week-end). Though I appreciate the sentiment, he knew that he wasn't supposed to just go out & pick one out w/o me. I mean it will be my pole & w/all the advice that I've recieved from you wonderful people, I am a little a head of the game than he is.

Anyway, he did go to SportCo & he bought me a Pflueger 8556 8'6" (209M) #5 Fly Line. The reel a Sierra S5/6 Okuma.

Now, I was told by one angler that Pflueger was a brand to definately not get. I don't know. So, I already have my pole.

Thank you though Micro. I do appreciate the info. I'm going to visit their site anyway to see what is there. If Pflueger is as bad as I've heard, I'll be shopping for a new set up soon.
