Howdy!!
Have you ever fished off the shore for the cutties when they come shallow? My grandpa Skip (Skip Desautel) went up there I think in mid-late may, he said that the fishing was very productive for BIG FISH, he used a Muddler Minnow and also Wooly Buggers with a wrap or 2 of orange on the back, he would croush down and cast in front of the fish as they swam down the bank and for no reason one would just come out of the school and hammer it, his partner caught one that was near 10lbs!! We went down there and didnt see a darn thing so we went off down to the Net Pens over at Rufus Woods and became Powerbait plunkers rather than fly fishers!!
