I was out at Battle Ground lake at the end of last summer. I had heard that the bluegills were spawning. My brother and I found a spot with lots of sunken logs. EVERY cast had a bite. Fished there many times before and after, never caught another bluegill. Guess you just gotta get 'em on the spawn.
