End of January I'm headed to Puerto Escondito, but can't seem to get a good feel for the fishing. A good bunch of the Americans there are of the ex-pat, black helicopter believing, gamma ray dodging, burnt out hippie variety, and they don't seem to know sh!t about fishing. The locals tell great stories, but photos are few and far between. Mostly interested in tuna, dorado, roosters, maybe some sails. Anybody got the feel for this place?
