If my butt wasn't so big, I would've had a pair of the new ones to try out ... but I'm waiting like the rest of the crowd as a big boy. I will say, I have been very happy with the zippered cpx's I have now. Have been wearing a pair since fall with a fair amount of walking in BC and the wear & tear of a full salmon season and not the slightest leak yet My only complaint was the lighter weight elastic straps that tended to let the adjustment move a little ... but that has since been beefed up. Happy to see a new quality product with a little more reasonable price point.
