You should do fine just finding a shimano in your price range. I use various models for ultra light trouting to winter steelheading. I recommend not getting the 'trigger'. Seems to fail over time, and flipping the bail manually is not really a big deal. Also, I tend to prefer front drag models, but some will swear by rear drag (they tend to be heavier, the drag is easy to accidently bump, and you'll get sand caught in it if your not careful).
