Nice going Curtis! At least somebody out there is knockin'em!
At my old job we held winter Steelhead derby's every year for HATCHERY fish only. During that time I have weighed well over a couple hundered fish from all around western Washington. 99.9 percent of the time a fish that wasn't spawned out (yes dudes brought those in too) weighed within a half a pound of the the length.
By that I mean 29 inches was nine pound,30 inches was 10 poounds, 32 inches was 12 pounds ect....
We had to turn in this info to the state for all fish entered, we never measured girth.
Keep up the good work! All hatchery fish should die!
