I would like to start fishing on Wilson river in Oregon. Sold my boat in Alaska so I have to bank fish. In Alaska we haven't used bobber for our salmon fishing, at least not on Little Susitna river. So could somebody advice me about a rig up for steelhead? How many feet from your bobber to the end of your terminal tackle? How do you find out how deep it is? Just plunk some weight down and see? If you can just refer me to a post where this was discussed would be great! Thanks guys. The water is clearing up so I want to go on Wednesday!! I should I perhaps start with spinners, etc?
