So I've learned a bit, and after starting to learn how to tie knots, I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion on tying a jig to a leader.

I realize for a jig to be presented properly, it should sit horizontally, and this means the knot shouldn't be sliding around the jig eye, or else it just wants to drop vertically (or straight up and down).

I realize there are a TON of different knots for tying a lure, but I'm looking for one that will hold the jig tight, and obviously still be strong.

I only ask because none of my reading, and I've done a bit, seems to mention a knot for this purpose.

I've been practicing the 'rivers inlet knot' in Herzogs book to tie my swivels/clips, and I'm assuming it should still work fine for braided line, right?
