No party has the balls to touch S.S. Never gonna happen as elderly vote more and blah blah blah. Just a club to scare grandma to the pols to vote. Only thing I see happening is raising retirement age and upping the taxes. What hurts about that is the younger generation will now pay even more into the broken system that they will get little if any return on.

I hear all the biatching by the twenty somethings today how they got so screwed by their parents and grandparents generations. Most of the time I tell them to GFY as they still have it pretty nice but this is one way they have been. SS and medicare are some of the best ideas and worst things that have ever happened to the country.
