Once the water temp comes up Meridian will be good. Try Angle, Morton, Spanaway, Washington, and American too. They all allow gas motors and can be good fishing.

I have run into the same "no gas motor" problem also. Seems like most lakes in King County don't allow them per city/county ordinances. I did notice at Wilderness people had gas motors hanging off the back but were not using them. Electric motors were used to move around the lake.

I think unless it is specifically stated in WDFW regs you can have a gas motor hanging but you better not use it. If WDFW regs say "no gas motors" as part of the Selective Gear Rules then you cannot even have one hanging.

I wish WDFW regs would mirror county/city ordinances.
