Head out to Hansville,and try Buck Lake. there isn't much for spiny rays it's mostly trout. It's a fairly small lake that is totally undeveloped,except for a small county park and a really old delapedated shack on one side. I used to catch alot of fish from the small dirt boat launch,but a small boat will be better. It's pretty much overlooked by most people,except the locals.

I also had alot of success casting small spinners and spoons along the shoreline. We always tried for bass but never caught any,we couldn't get past all the rainbows and cuttthroat.

Another good bet is to head across the Hood Canal bridge. Tarboo, Sandy Shore and Teal lakes are all over there. Again... fairly small lakes with no houses or powerboaters to bother you. Good luck! smile
