Okay Basser. In the 60's, while Mason Lake was still full of shore side structure and very few homes, we were fishing for bass shortly after dusk. There were a lot of beaver around the lake back then. Dad saw a beaver swimming not far from the boat and wanted me to see the beaver slap its tail on the water. He cast his bass plug in the direction of the critter, it never did hit the water! The beaver did slap his tail and line started to run off the reel. He actually got the beaver back to the side of the boat in hopes of getting the plug out. No such luck, of course. BTW - We did have a great night of bass fishing.
