That's probably where we'll head - just because I know it better and this won't be an appropriate time for exploring (I'd like him to actually catch fish...). I've only fished Lenore once and that was right in the middle of the warm spell that killed off most of the fish several years ago (I didn't know at the time). And I've never tried the 3 'quality lakes', but their on my list for this fall or next spring for sure.

I lived in Texas for a few years as a kid, and for fun I hunted cotton-mouths and other big snakes with a bb gun and sticks just for fun. Washington's rattlers are nice little snakes in comparison (: As for the ticks, I could live without those nasty critters
