Fished both points from an hour before high tide until dark, this evening. Tried hotspots with hoochies, herring, and a coyote spoon. Trolled cutplugs behind four and five ounce sinkers. We lost one shaker blackmouth at the boat. Never saw a net out. The morning minus tide really filled the water with weeds and grass. Guess we missed them this time. On the positive side: the weather was beautiful, the water was perfect, we had the boat ramp to ourselves, and the thirty-five year old Merc started on the first pull. Glad to hear you found the fish, Mike. Thanks for the report.
