Me and a buddy hit the south fork from Tinkham road up for about a mile. The river was pretty low and crystal clear but the fishing was great and the walking was easy. Lots of slow semi deep holes with lots of fish waiting to tag anything that comes along.

We threw #16-20 cream and white parachutes, #12-16 muddlers, #20 BH nimph and something that looks like a backwards muddler with wings. All worked well. We got a few cutts a few bows and alot of brookies up to 12". Lots of fun, short drive.

I've fished there alot over the years and never saw a brook trout in there. Anyone know where they came from or when they were introduced?
