I've fished pixies for silvers in a a river/estuary system for 10 trips to Kodiak. They are definitely the go to lure. On one hot day in Sept. I caught 51 fresh coho in a day. Like the silver bodied 1/2 or 5/8th, (there are not two choices, I can't remember what they actually weigh, but they are kind of what I would call the medium size) either the red or orange middle sac. Don't know if the rattling ones work, but don't think they could hurt. We ALWAYS replace the treble with a single.

I can't say anything about the lower 48 cause I've never tried them here, but in my case, I'd always have a fair amount if fishing for Silvers in AK.

Last thing...I am talking only about fishing in rivers or mouths of rivers. I have no idea about how they would work in open Saltwater, but suspect I would do something else.

As Sebastes said, they to appear to be marketed well. Good Luck.
