Oh, I'm mostly against the Snider Creek program. The outbound snider parr are outcompeting the wild parr for food/resources - thereby killing off the wild parr. That's bad.

For those fish that come back, they are hammered on by tribal netting and recreational fishing. That's also bad.

So, I say shutdown the program IF and that's a big IF you stop tribal netting and stop recreational fishing on these fish.

There is NO recovery if one stops the program and allows the current tribal and recreational harvest (C&R and direct) on these fish.

That's not gonna happen....so now what????

That's the 10 million dollar question.

Pretty sad really that neither the WDFW, tribal or recreational interests will do what is right for the fish.
