I fished Baker about 3 or 4 times earlier in the spring/summer and did well for the silvers (kokanee) and also a few rainbows and cutthroat. Use chum and focus around any of the streams that flow in. To tell you the truth, Lake Shannon is a much better lake to fish this time of year, it is just below Baker lake towards Concrete. It has some incredible Kokanee fishing in late fall. For chum use some feed eggs, meal, cream corn, and Jack Mackral, then use a single egg w/ spike (maggot). Usually around a depth of 10-15 feet will find the fish, but adjust that until you get strikes, or if you have a fish finder, that should tell you where they are at. This type of fishing works at Baker Im told, but if I had the choice, I'd choose Shannon any day.

Good Luck.
