I am going to be making a new sand shrimp gun and wanted some input before I dive too far into it.

I have seen the slurp guns that you pump the shrimp out with and they seem to a lot easier to use. The quesiton is are they effective or at least as effective as a pull gun?

Also, I have a 4 inch gun I use right now and was wondering if a 3 or even a 2 inch one would work as well? I know it will be easier to pull out of the sand but will it suck out shrimp as effectively?

Anyone that has any experience using the slurp gun please let me know how well they work. I don't want to build one and have it not work as well as a simple suction pull one at 1/4 the price.
