I haven't had many chances to fish trout yet this summer for a number of reasons. Work has kept me more than busy and on my few off days, I have been focusing more on freezer filling/king season rather than spending time tormenting the trout in my local cricks. I finally put the salmon gear down (for part of the afternoon) and picked up the fur flinging stick. It was refreshing to say the least.

Today was probably the nicest weather day of summer so far, full of sunshine and hardly a breath of wind. We managed to find a few small and medium sized trout, no magnums. A few of the rainbows managed to catch some decent light and I thought I would share.
