He does make some good points regarding Germany and Japan and their Nuclear Power programs. If those programs end, what real viable option do they have to generate enough to power their respective grids at the same level they enjoy today?

Not to say that Tokyo couldn't use a smidgen of dimming, but what other option is there for use other than fossil fuels?

Geothermal generation could be an option for Japan, but not Germany.
