Growing up on Johnson Point I got to see some really cool things. One of the best was the summer that their was a tent caterpillar infestation. When they hatched into moths, it was absolutely lights out fishing for about two weeks as the SRC's and resident coho gorged themselves. Literally every fish in the inlet was working the moths, and was catchable. It was awesome and remains a great memory. The only thing better was when they were working juvenile herring right on the beach.
