Nice thing about buggers is the body on the easy ones is just chenille. A good fly to start out on. Only one easier is a carey special.

Congrats on getting the kit. Keep me posted on your first fishing trips. One place that's a good one for sight fly fishing is Leech Lake up on top of White Pass. The Lake doesn't usually open up intil sometime in June because of elevation, but the brookies in it are fun to catch, relatively easy too.
