The last time I went out on opening day was 10 years ago at CLear Lake near Yelm. We got there at the crack of dawn, and, lo and behold the ramp was backed up onto the road for alot farther then my buddy who was driving cared to wait.

So he started passing all the other trailered boats and without really planning it we made our way down the unused outbound ramp via the exitway to effect a pronto launch ahead of the masses.

I know what we did was wrong so don't go off lambasting our onetimer trick.

What I want to know is are there any gamey wanna-bes or self-appointed ramp fiasco diverters who have thought to utilize both ramps on particular occasions such as 5:30 am on opening day?

That was the only time I've been to Clear Lake and I don't remember the ramp layout but it seemed like a no-brainer, and it was, cuz I think we mighta been smokin' a little bit besides tobaco that morning. :p
