the way it works in thurston county pretty much screws us out of the whole fishing season. every good sized lake except st. clair, lawrence, or offutt is only open the the short general season, but here's the part that sucks even more. there's a 5mph limit from the closing day of fishing season to may 15th. that gives us maybe 2.5-3 weeks of decent fishing
