B.m. - I will be down your way this weekend hunting geese and flying solo if you wanted to meet up for a hunt I run DSDs as they are the best for what I want to accomplish, but you should be able to get birds within range using just about any decoy. I hate Avery products with a passion because of the lack of quality control... if i were in your situation I would watch Craigslist and pick up some used DSDs or hardcores.
